Jack was born in 1886. He is the son of Hardy Bass and Eleanor Jarrett. In 1900, the family was living in Meriwether, Baldwin, Georgia.[1]
In 1917, Jack registered for the WWI draft in Macon, Georgia. Jack was married with one child, and working as a machinist, at the time.[2]
Jack passed away in Florida in 1938 from "acute dilatation of the heart." His wife was Ruby Bass. He worked as a farmer.[3]
