Biography
Robert Albert Bass was born in 1889. He is the son of Hardy Bass and Eleanor Jarrett. In 1900, the family was living in Meriwether, Baldwin, Georgia.[1]
Robert registered for the WWI draft in Macon, Bibb, Georgia in 1917. He passed away in 1918.[2][3]
Burial was in the Memory Hill Cemetery, Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia.[4] A small newspaper notice posted on his Find A Grave: Memorial #17859810 stated that He was a private serving in Company "B" of the 321st Machine Gun Battalion. He was killed by shrapnel while serving in France in Oct 1918.
