"James W Barrett Funeral Planned"
"Funeral for James W. Barrett, 74, a Jones farmer, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday Assembly of God church, Jones. Barrett died Sunday in a sanitorium at 1718 N Broadway. Burial will be in IOOF cemetery, Jones. Baggerley Funeral home, Edmond, is in charge of arrangements.
Barrett came to the Jones Community 15 years ago from Arkansas. He and Mrs. Barrett celebrated their fifty-second wedding anniversary October 25.
Survivors include his wife, six sons, four daughters and two sisters. The sons and daughters are Roy, 2018 SE 11;, Virgil, E Reno; Leslie, 3636 S Kelley; Ira, McPherson, Kan.; Martin, Johnson City, Tenn.; Charles, Blackwell; Mrs Robert Malloy, SE 15 and Grand Blvd.; Mrs. Elsie Shackleford, Corpus Christi; Mrs. Alma Berch, Artesia, Calif., and Mrs. Eula Parsons, Olivehurst, Calif.
The two sisters are Mrs. Emma Blancett, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Agnes Chappell, Dallas."
