Mary Barnett daughter of Benjamin Barnett and his wife,
Mary Willin, born in August 1702, she was baptised at Holy Trinity, Gosport, Hampshire on 8 September 1702. [1].
Arthur must have died before 1729. They had a daughter Mary Colbrook (bef.1720-) baptised July 1720 in the Independent chapel in Gosport High Street. [2]
Admiral Sir Richard King (1730-1806) MP, Colonial Governor and 1st Baronet, described as third, but only surviving son; born in Gosport, Hampshire and baptised in Holy Trinity Church there 27 August 1730; [6][7]
Curtis King (bef.1735-) (Jr.) Baptised Holy Trinity, Gosport. [8] unmarried and died in 1754 in Madagascar;
Her husband died in 1745 and he was buried in Bromley, Kent (see his profile). Mary's death tbc
Research Notes
Slight suspicion that Mary's daughter with Arthur is right - why baptise in an independent chapel when both marriages are in St Thomas, Portsmouth and subsequent baptisms are all in CofE church ??
