Biography
Louie was born in 1903. She was the daughter of Harriet Barnett, a single mother (father unknown).
She would have spent some time living with her mother as a young child, but when her mother married Joseph Williams, Louie was separated from her mother. Nonetheless she had a close relationship with her half siblings.
Louie Myrtle Harrison married John "Ian" Gibb Ross in 1927. They had no children.
In the 1928 NZ Electoral Rolls she was living in Thynne Street, Foxton, married.
Sadly her husband Ian passed away in 1931 at the age of 31.
She married, secondly, Reginald Clyde Allen in 1938. They also remained childless.
In the 1969 NZ Electoral Rolls Louie was living at 87 Wakefield Street, Lower Hutt, Wellington with her husband Reginald, who was a Superannuitant.
She passed away in 1982 at the age of 79.
