John Armistead was married 23rd November 1749 to Mary Churchill of Middlesex County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Armistead Churchill and Hannah Harrison.[4]
John appears to have passed away in late 1762 in Gloucester County. His estate was administered predominately by Mary's brother, Col. William Churchill in Middlesex County. His widow again married to Maj. John Robinson of Middlesex, who also administered upon the estate.
