Ebenezer Alden, the son of Isaac Alden and Mehitable Allen, was born January 5, 1693 at Bridgewater, Massachusetts. He died there on December 31, 1776, at almost 83 years. He married Anna Keith on April 16, 1717. They had six children, at least two of whom died in childhood. He was described as "yeoman" (farmer) in his will. He was the fourth generation from John Alden.
