Biography

Nancy Abernathy was born on March 1, 1766 in Lincoln County, Province of North Carolina, the daughter of David H. Abernathy and Martha Ann Turner. She was the sister of Joseph Abernathy, Robert Abernathy, Martha Abernathy, John D. Abernathy, Turner Abernathy, Moses Abernathy, William D. Abernathy and Miles D. Abernathy.[1]

Nancy married Peter Forney on February 27, 1783 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, United States. [2] They were the parents of Nancy Ann (Forney) Boyd

Nancy died on May 1, 1847 in Lincoln County, North Carolina, United States.
