Map of Lancaster, MA in 1675 showing various landmarks including the homes of the Whitcombs, Whites and Rowlandsons. It also shows the garrisons or fortified houses where many of the families fled for protection during the Indian attack of Feb. 10, 1676 during King Philip's War. The Indians burned almost all of the structures in the town EXCEPT the Meeting House.
