Lars Moen Brick Wall

I am tracing my husband's Norwegian ancestry and despite extensive research have hit a brick wall.  My husband's father was Lloyd Gayhard Moen (1920-1979), who lived in Iowa and finally San Diego, CA.  Lloyd's father was Knudt Lars Moen (1882-1927), born in Valdres, Norway and died in Northwood, Worth County, Iowa, USA.  Knudt's father, Lars Moen (1855-1927), was born in Norway and may (or may not) have emigrated to Iowa.  Given the commonality of the name Lars Moen and my inability to read Norwegian, I seem to be at a complete dead end.  Does anyone have any info on this family line?  Any research direction would be appreciated.

Father was Knut Iversen b 1817

Mother was Randi Larsdatter b 1814

They got married on June 30, 1846. See line 15.  Shows Knut's father was Ivar Knutsen and Randi's father was Lars Tollovsen.

Pamela,

It looks like your husbands grandfather and my grandfather were brothers.  In the first link Greg provided (https://www.digitalarkivet.no/census/person/pf01037104001475), entries 010 and 011 Lars and Rangdi are my great-grandparents, It appears that the next entry 012, Knut, would be your husbands grandfather.  If that's true, he came to the US in 1906, according to a genealogy I received from my second-cousin in Norway, and my grandfather, Lars, entry 014, came to the US in 1907.  Lars Knutsen Tveit the suspected great-grandfather your husband and I have in common, was born 17 Nov 1857 and died 27 Jan 1938 in Norway.  Rangdi was born 27 Dec 1850 and died 3 Apr 1936, also in Norway.  There's a log barn still standing where Lars and Knut grew up, and there are two huge pine trees there on the property, said to have been planted to remind the folks there in Norway of the boys who left for America.
