Who are the Parents of Willa Dean McDonald, born July 30, 1922, in Paris,Glen Switch, Henry, Tennessee?

Question

Trying to backtrack and find a document (Birth certificate, etc) proving Willa Dean or Willadean McDonald born in either Paris or Glen Switch, Henry Co, tennessee on July 30, 1922.

I would like to know her parents names;

it is supposedly a Joseph Napoleon McDonald who married a Mae Belle Todd. May Belle died giving birth to Willa Dean and it was said she was then raised by her grandparents William Hubbard McDonald m. to a Francis Elizabeth Lizzie Vickers...and lived in either Tennessee or Arkansas.

Thank you...but not correct. She is my Gma, she died in 1983 as Margaret Gleason, in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Ks.

My bio Grandmother was very mysterious. We knew her somewhat because she gave my mom up for an open adoption, so occasionally we knew her.

Supposedly, she was a serial marriage person...just kept getting married to maybe change her name??

This is what I know for sure; I attended her funeral at Maple Hill Cemetery, located in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas.

I have never found a Find a Grave. She was buried as Margaret W Gleason, aka Peggy.

Her birth name was Willa Dean or Willodean McDonald,

b; 29 Jul 1922   in Paris or Paris, Glen Switch, Henry County, Tennessee

d; 19 Apr 1993, Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas.

Her parents were Joseph Joe McDonald and Mae Belle or Neval, Neva Todd, living in either Henry or Carroll County, TN...I suspect Henry.

Her mother Mae or May or Neval Todd died after birth on Aug 1st as only Mrs J McDonald.

I have searched for years, and not found a birth, death or Find a grave. I am positive she died. Her other birth daughter, gave me all the family verbal knowledge which we have a good relationship with.

I thank you so much for any efforts to help me.

I apologize, I forgot to list her marriage(s),

The only Marriage for Willa Dean McDonald that I know is recorded and know for positive is to a Loyd Redden, in Tennesse in about 1937.

We also found her married to a Robert Walling as Willodean and gave that surname to my Mother as her Dad, but dna has shown Robert Walling is not the bio father. In addition, I never found a marriage record for them...instead I found that on another marriage record...so can't be certain. As the one you found previously, I have ran thru all of them and either found they were a different Willa Dean or found nothing else.

The only other "marriage" name is listed in Mo and Kansas as Margaret W "Peggy" Gleason as a Common law marriage to a Harvey Yule Gleason, Sr.

I added the United States Census, 1940 Civil District 7, Henry, Tennessee to William McDonald's profile, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McDonald-19243  where Willa D. Redden is living with her son George, says daughter and grandson, should be granddaughter * great grandson?

Yes, Chris you are correct now...Willa Dean is actually the Granddaughter and her son George, great grandson.

I know this to be correct...that the census has them listed in relationship incorrectly.

To clarify, Wiliam Hubbard "Hub" McDonald, jr,

was the Grandfather of Willa Dean McDonald.
