Looking for information on any ROSE family in Peterborough, Ont, Canada

Question

Specifically, I have a newspaper obituary for a Thomas Robert Rose who died in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada on November 21, 1951.  He must be a relative because my Great Great Grandfather lived in Peterborough, (and because my mother had the obituary in her "obituary box") but I can't find any information on Thomas.  His wife's name was Rachel Stott. I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

The Thomas R. Rose buried in Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough, was born September 25, 1896 according to the headstone (Canadian Headstones). In the 1901 Census, a Thomas R Rose born on the same date is recorded as the son of Alfred Charles Rose (b. Dec. 28, 1859) and his wife Mary Rose (a cousin?). They lived in Millbrook. Alfred was the son of William and Eveline Rose and married Mary in Port Hope in 1884.(https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FMJG-R1C)
