I am not seeing any links to Larkin Chew as his daughter, according to sources.

Agree that she is not a daughter of Larkin Chew. I am still checking sources but I plan to remove her, especially since the Lindsay genealogies land her in a different part of Virginia.

The will of the Larkin Chew, husband of Mary Beverly,  who died in 1770 names only two daughters, Mary and Elizabeth.  The will of his father, Larkin Chew, husband of Hannah, who died in 1728 names sons Larkin, Thomas, and John, daughter Nan Johnson, and grandson Larkin.  I don't find anyone named "Jane" in either will.

Not sure how these folks tie into this family but they do. Could be one of the daughters married into this family.

Larkin Johnston was the son of “Nan” (Anna) Johnson named  in the will of the Larkin Chew who died in 1728.

Thanks for that link, Gigi. Gives me some pointers with that particular group of Johnston smiley

Is this the Ann Chew that married William Johnston, 12 Oct 1723 Spots Co VA? William Johnston b. 19 Dec 1697, d. 16 Aug 1756.  Ann Chew was born 1703 and died 2 Nov 1742. She and William had ten children. The last born was Larkin. I am a 20/20 match with a David Johnston but I don't know if it is this branch. I think I am related to John Chew b. 31 Mar 1749, MD, d. 22 May 1838, who married a Margaret Ready (Reed) 11 Sep 1777.
