By my research on my family tree, it looks like I have quite a bit of Welsh blood floating around -- I would love to participate in the project and verify the names in my tree.

Thanks!

I absolutely have an Interest. I recently took one of those DNA tests and that sparked an interest in genealogy. My aunt had started an ancestry.com family tree that has information on my 4th great grandfather who resided in the Brecon Area. I have since found someone elses geneology project that they hard turned into a website for their family that is not located on wikitree.com or other genealogy sites. They are an American family with the same sir name whose ancestors came from the same location as my 4th great grandfather. The church in which my 4th great grandparents got married was also where their ancestors got married. That church name I believe is Llanddewi, Abergwessin.

Greetings!  I'm very interested in joining the Wales Project.  My ancestors are from North Wales, around Anglesey.  we have family names of Ross (Roos), Thomas, and Lloyd. (I'm sure that narrows it down!)  I'm also migrating over from the soon-closing UK Project.  I look forward to working with you!

I would like to join the Pembrokeshire Team. I know my 3rd great-grandfather, James Welsh, 24 December, 1823 was from Pembrokeshire, Wales. My wife and I had the great pleasure to visit Pembrokeshire in June of 2018.

My father's family came from Wales. A few from Whitchurch, Cardiff and most from around Pontypool. Some of my DNA matches suggest that another of my lines may have come from Wales.

I am interested in joining the Wales Project.  I have traced my ancestry back to  Llywelyn ap Iorwerth (1173-1240) also known as Llywelyn the Great.  As such, I am especially interested in the sub project - i.e. Cymru Welsh Royals and Aristocrats 742-1535 Project.  Please accept my request to join this project.  Thanks.

I'm interested in the Welsh project.  My surname is “Welsh.”   I have a pretty good handle on my Welsh ancestors back to 1810 but hit a dead end there.   I hope the Welsh Project can help move me beyond that.   I'll be glad to share the info from 1810 down to the 1960’s on Barnett Welsh.

I am interested in joining the Wales Project.  I have Welsh ancestry which includes lineages to members of Welsh nobility and royalty including Llywelyn ap Iorwerth also known as [[Ap_Iorwerth-26|'''Llywelyn the Great, Prince of Gwynedd''']] '''(1173-1240)'''. Thanks.

Hi there,

I wrote before but have not received a response. I have been delving into my Flintshire ancestors and would like to join the Wales project. II am already a member of the UK project. In default of an answer I wrote to Susie, but she referred me back here.

What do I need to do?
by Steve Bartlett G2G6 Mach 7 (78.4k points)
Hi Steve, sorry for the delay. Welcome to the Project
