Is this right?

Interesting four words that came up in suggestions. Got a kick out of a suggestion I just seen in the hints for "Comment (No change in status)"  and "False Suggestion (hide forever). The last comment hint is shown as "Stop Wasting My Time"  I had to take a double-take thought, maybe I've been at my PC too long.  lol

It's fine. WikiTree+ database error 864 Almost Empty </ref> tags

I'm using that one, especially for my Paiute profiles.  Yes, there are people named Johnny Paleface, Suzie Two Chins, and Chief Blackeye (he's not a chief)  Paiute have oral traditions, no written language, so they belong in the group of LNAB = None. Blackeye-2

Lol. There might be some others like this.

Hints are automated and most used are displayed as hints.

I suppose that someone should keep a watch on them. If you can generate a report on new hints, we Rangers can check it regularly. They could obviously use some filtering.

Besides, members who enter this kind of comments might need some mentoring.
New project, the Thought Police? lol, Just kidding.
I don't care what people are thinking. But in my opinion, the act of leaving this kind of comments when correcting errors, reveals an attitude to the task which may not be beneficial to WikiTree. I think it may be better to abstain from Data Doctoring entirely, than to do it offhandedly.
I produce 10 hints for each status. That is 50 text for each suggestion. and we have 244 suggestion. I will not check 12200 lines of text each time I regenerate the hints. I doubt anyone else would volunteer to do that.
If you create a diff file between the old and new version each time you regenerate the list, I suppose that should be quite easy to handle.
I suppose that these kind of comments are not meant for the profile manager, because the Data Docter can't fix them. I think they mean that these error should not be in the suggestion list.
These comments are likely made by regular contributors cleaning up their own Suggestions and annoyed by the number of them, rather than by Data Doctors.

I would love it if all my "Wikidata is wrong" comments counted! (and yes, before you ask, yes, I check that my data is correct and Wikidata is not before marking it as false error; and sometimes it takes some time).
I agree with Isabelle, I know when cleaning up my own family, there are notes which say things like "I think I corrected the error, we will find out next week"   Those are notes to help me remember that I was confused or not sure that what I did would actually fix the issue.   This is especially true with WikiData and FindaGrave errors.
I find Wikidata info with no source, I just leave the note saying to check the sources listed.  I do not use Wikidata.  And Yes it takes time,  to be sure my data is correct.

Actually, I tried to fix one of these. Ibid was in the reference tag. Thought II would be easy, just replace ibid with a correct short reference. Well the previous reference was so short as to be  not really helpful and there were 2 books with same title in source section. I don't have a good  internet connection so unable to do more research on this & gave up. I like working on simple fixes, helps me learn how things work.

I regularly come across recommended comments that are clearly meant to be a private comment, but, people do not understand that if they say it enough....it becomes a recommendation.   OOOPSblush

That's why I think those hints need to be laundered.

Every once in awhile I've run across some silly or odd ones. None of them were actually bad so I never drew attention to them. I figured as soon as I did, we would try to eliminate all of them. And now, here we are.

It is just much more obvious with newer suggestions because there is less of a database to draw the answers from. As more and more people input answers, the funny ones will be gradually hidden over time.
