My Great Grandfather Edward Hussey (born in 1846, Co.Kerry, Ireland) and died in San Francisco, California , Dec 1893. He had a brother, Patrick Hussey, born 1848, Co. Kerry Ireland. They where Stonemasons, Brickmasons by trade. Edward Hussey & his wife, Julia Breslin (born 1847, Co. Kerry, Ireland) and brother, Patrick Hussey where found in the 1870 U.S. Census in New Jersey. Later that year, 1870, Edward & Julia settled in San Francisco, California for the birth of their 1st born: Mary Anastasia Hussey. All their children where born in San Francisco, CA. They had 5 daughters and one son, Daniel J. Hussey, born 1872 ..They may have had another male relation in San Francisco, an older Daniel Hussey , with same address & same occupation as Edward on Natoma St., San Francisco in 1877. Edward or Julia had a family connection to a Murphy branch in San Francisco, but how, is a mystery to me. Any one with similar people in there tree would be welcome to exchange information.
