Looking for help with Jones family

Am looking for help with this family of Jones'. The little bit of information I get other then census' with his children are speculative at best. I have found some stuff about his parents but am not sure if they are correct. anything after his parents I cannot find. I am also unable to find any information on his children except for Jessie and Jackie (my grandmother).

This line is said, in family lore, to have married a native American "princess".

I have information of dad as Benjamin Jones and mom as Ellen Rebecca Weaver and siblings. Need information further back then this.

What is the basis for his birth location? I didn't see primary source documentation for the birth but you have a specific location. Did you find his draft registration?

If you are certain of Maryland as the birth place of grandfather Benjamin, I would do some more research on the Census records for 1870, 1880, etc and see if you can match names (was great grandfather also a Benjamin?) with children, wives, etc. Just a suggestion for a starting point.

I've added a bunch of source records including his death certificate, his draft registration for both world wars, and the 1910 census. His death record lists his mother as Rebecca Weaver but his SS application lists her as Ellen R Morris. I'd go with the application.
