How do I fix incorrect LNAB discovered researching possible duplicates.

Question

Looking at Edmands-29 and Whittemore-2089 as possible duplicates. “Appears” that the LNAB For Edmands-29 should be Whittemore. How do you change LNAB if proved to be incorrect?

If they are duplicates, then simply merge them together (into the correct name spelling)

Only a member of the profile's Trusted List can fix the LNAB.  Since Eliza is an orphan profile, you can adopt her and fix it.

Edit to add - You should adopt Edmands-29 anyway, to help move the merge along.

Under-the-hood, changing the Last Name At Birth is the very same as a merge operation. (and creates a redirect, which increases the strain on the server)

So, since it needs to be merged with its doppelganger anyway, then there's no need to merge twice, when we can just merge once. :)
