Need a bit more information. There appear to be Benjamin Wilsons in Saint John and Carleton counties in that time period although the one in Carleton is a lot younger. The New Brunswick Provincial Archives has some information at https://archives.gnb.ca/Search/VISSE/Results.aspx?culture=en-CA&guid=c51ec6ca-5f76-421b-b745-36fecfff1d32

Additional info:

  • "New Brunswick, Provincial Returns of Births and Late Registrations, 1810-1906," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XT3K-F7Z : 11 March 2018), Benjamin Thomas Wilson, 18 Oct 1897; citing Saint John, St John, New Brunswick, certificate 006164, Provincial Archives, Fredericton; FHL microfilm 2,024,654.
  • There are Benjamin Wilsons in the NB Census (starting in 1871). You can look at those at http://bac-lac.gc.ca
