Should Fanney Burrell Burrell-534 be removed from Samuel Cutter Cutter-413?

Hi!

I was working on some of my Cutter ancestors and I came across this curious marriage,  Cutter-413 and Burrell-534. I am wondering if it might have been a merge gone wrong?

The other thought, she was put with the wrong Samuel Cutter, there are a few!

I see that it is a gedcom upload and might be an error in the family file that was uploaded.

Should she be detached from Samuel?

I removed Fannie Burrell from Samuel Cutter. I left notes on as to why and some possible answers to the question in notes on her profile. I also removed the children.

Well your Fanny is credited with a DOB of c1760 and her alleged marriage is credited to have occurred 102 yrs later. That would seem to make the decision for you.

Also, Samuel married her 3 years after he died.  Since there are no sources at all, we can't be sure whether the marriage date or the birth date is the problem, so I would not detach them until finding some sources for at least their birth and death dates.

I will look! I have not run across her in my research for Samuel nor have I found her mention in any of the family information I have received. Thank you both Susan and Gaile for your answers.

Ah missed that point. So we have a man who married a woman 3 yrs after he died and she married him 102 yrs after she was born. Scruples -- which have their role to be sure -- bar "divorce" in this case ...

Think we're talking about a wholly different Samuel given the brief biography material -- someone has scrambled the generations

Fannie's contemporary Samuel (judging from the brief bio material) is not the same Samuel who married in 1862.
