Sharon,
Thank you for your generous offer! I can hardly find any information about any of my ancestors in Pennsylvania in the early to mid 1800s. Maybe you can help.
I have one brick wall ancestor, Julia Anna Knox, who married William Hoisington Goodsell (I don't know where or when the marriage took place, but Mount Pleasant, Wayne County, Pennsylvania around 1830 seems likely. William shows up on the 1830 US census for Mount Pleasant, Wayne County, Pennsylvania with a 20-30 year old female that I assume is Julia.) William was born in 1806, probably in Connecticut or Pennsylvania, USA. I have no records that give Julia's date of birth, her parents' names, or much of anything else. She is named on the death certificates of two of her children, and at least one of them said Julia was born in Pennsylvania.
Julia Anna (Knox) Goodsell died before 1850, but it is not certain exactly where or when. Her first known child, George, was born in 1831 in Wyoming County, PA, One of Julia's daughters, Adelia (my ancestor) was born October 17, 1834, in Wayne County, PA. I believe there was at least one more child -- that I have not added to Wikitree due to lack of records -- named Amasa Goodsell, possibly born about 1839 in Pennsylvania. Julia may have died soon after giving birth to him, but I haven't found a death record. William Goodsell remarried and shows up with his new wife Clarissa/Clarene on the 1850 US census. Here is Julia's Wikitree profile:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Knox-2282 I have so little information about her that I am embarrassed to have a profile for her.
I would be grateful to locate almost any Pennsylvania record that actually mentions her. I would be ecstatic to find something that helps me find out who her parents were.
If you have time, could you see if the Pennsylvania Genealogy Society has any clues about her?
