Kinchon Watkins, who he?

I am stuck on Kinchon (Kincheon) Watkins who was said to be the father of William Lynch Watkins, born in 1807 in Johnston County, North Carolina.  He purportedly is the son of Keziah Snead and William Watkins, but nothing I can find offers any proof or any details other than his name on the 1790 Census.  Any help would be most gratefully accepted.  Thanks, Dick Johnston

This helps a great deal.  I appreciate Marion Poole's prompt reply and will now pursue Kinchin with much more zeal.

I am answering my own question.  FamilySearch records has a relatively new posting with copies of pleadings in Kinchon Watkins' probate.  It is extremely difficult to read because of age and poor penmanship.  Good stuff between the smudges, though.

Database is https//familysearch.org/ark/61903/1:1:QJ8G-MS6V:16 March 2018   I did not get a link on that because I still haven't figure out how WikiTree works (can you cut and paste?)

Take care, Dick Johnton
