Bump in the Road

I've been working on Flensburgh-3 and have hit a snag. The same thing appears on Familysearch. The wife, Christina Schever or Schneider-7175 is managed by a person who is a descendant of a Christina who lived in the same area at the same time. There have been proposed merges but they were declined because there is a whole different spouse and a slew of children. However, there are records to support both. I have added all the children from the Flensburgh line with sources, but I fear that there will be backlash from the original profile manager. He has not added any sources or information, any suggestions? Thanks!

Are you anticipating a problem that has not happened and may not happen? It is not clear from your question where you are in the collaboration process and whether there is an actual disagreement.

The response to a merge request previously that has me jumpy " do not represent the same person because: obviously not the same"

So yes, I'm worried about something that hasn't happened.
