Link isn't going where I got the link from so removed it...but if you go to archive dot org and type in the search (or copy and paste)

"THE NEW ARMY LIST, MILITIA LIST, AND INDIAN CIVIL SERVICE LIST" (No Volume #)

it takes you to MANY!

wow! I got the link in my email holy moly!!!  theres sooo much!

lets see if this link works

https://archive.org/search.php?query=THE+NEW+ARMY+LIST%2C+MILITIA+LIST%2C+AND+INDIAN+CIVIL+SERVICE+LIST&page=2

so I went to that link then on the left I went to "MORE"  and clicked to filter for only US and this is what it brought up

https://archive.org/search.php?query=THE+NEW+ARMY+LIST%2C+MILITIA+LIST%2C+AND+INDIAN+CIVIL+SERVICE+LIST&&and[]=collection%3A%22americana%22

I don't know why but the link I first used and the first link you posted takes me to some Voice of America? stuff...and though the 2nd link you posted looks identical to the one above it it took me to the right page...that is the weirdest thing frown

Apparently what we don't see on the screen is the &&and[]=collection%3A"americana at the end of the 2nd link which is what makes it different and makes it go to the right page.
that 1st link to the Voice of America page is the right page.  On the left side there is aCollections section with -  "MORE" option .  that was how I got to the other page, I went into More and Checked the box for " American Libraries"  that is what brought up the other titles for me.

Also if you just pic a subject, like Amercian Indians of North America  and type it into the big "meta search bar at the top of the original page it will take you to all kinds of books documents, audio video on just that topic.  The meta search library is massive and some of the titles you can see on the site and use on the site, others you actually have to apply to borrow from the library
Good to know! Thanks.
