looking for a half brother of my grandfather

looking for anyone who may know of John E.[may be for Eugene ] Richard as his father was Eugene Richard [ white & his mother was black-?]he was half brother to Frank Richard from  the  Church Point, Louisiana area this may have been sometime  in the 1890`s or later - I think Frank Richard died around 1942?? & was probally around 75 years old
