I have traced back to my great great grandfather but would like more information if possible. James Hillis married Isabella Boyd Hillis in Antrim Ireland in the late 1800s.  Several of there children migrated to Toronto Canada in the 20s and 30s. James, Samuel (my grandfather) and George.  I believe Thomas and a sister remained in Ireland.  Look for any info or a photo of James and Isabella. Thank you.

I've found Samuel Patrick Hillis (born Ballynure, Ballyclare, County Antrim, son of James Hillis, labourer, and Bella, née Boyd, on 28 September 1895) and James Hillis (born Ballyeaston, Ballyorr, County Antrim, same parents, on 25 March 1891) on IrishGenealogy.ie. The family is at 35 Ballyeaston in the 1901 census, with more children. Their oldest living child is 14, so they will have got married before 1887. I can't find them in 1911. That's something to get you going.

Hello! My siblings and I have traced our ancestry to Hillis and Boyd, married in Antrim. My grandfather was the youngest of the family, George Hillis, coming to Toronto, Canada in 1922 and leaving Thomas and Agnes behind. We have been curious about his birth since his middle name was "Cathcart" and there was some confusion about his birth certificate. My mother remembers Sam Hillis... I believe his wife's name was Audrey? Do you have any photos of him?
