Judith Bolling (Depriest?) and DNA

Question

I've come across a possible DNA match through Judith Bolling (b1708, Virginia) and William Depriest. The other person is a descendant of William Depriest but has Judith Elizabeth Austin as his wife.

I am a descendant of John Kennon Bolling (Judith's brother).  I'm very confident in this lineage.

Given there is no definitive answer that Judith Bolling married William Depriest, does this possible DNA match confirm the connection?  I don't find any other DNA possibilities between the two trees.

I guess, how much weight does DNA have toward confirming ancestors?

No Erin, I never did get an definitive answer but I believe she did marry William DePriest as I have found a couple of other DNA matches through William DePriest.

It's been awhile since I looked at William DePriest and Judith Bolling.  The DNA match I was researching is on Ancestry.  It was through Martin DePriest who married Betsy Lemmond.  Martin DePriest was the great grandson of William DePriest and Judith Bolling.  I descend from John Kennon Bolling (Judith's brother) who married Elizabeth Bland Blair.

I was unable to confirm any other possibilities for the DNA match.  The match itself was with my father and myself having 29.8cm.  I haven't had a chance to research other matches through William DePriest and Judith Bolling - but if I found other matches, that would confirm for me that Judith Bolling did marry William DePriest.

I am interested in confirming DNA with the DePriests.  I descend from William DePriest too.  I tested at 23 and Me and have a Gedmatch kit #.  I haven't matched with anyone that I could tell for sure I was looking at DePriest segments.
