How do I turn over my management of a profile to someone more closely related?

First, are they a wikitree member?

Yes, then go to privacy tab, arrow down to trusted list, put in their email address, add to trusted list, arrow up, you see where you can add them as manager and remove yourself

If you know their email address, and they are ok with this, just go to the profile you want to add them to, click on "Privacy" in the banner..

Then scroll down, you will find after the privacy settings depicted, your trusted list. Look for the subheading "Add to Trusted List"! Fill in the blanks.
