That being said, we can help you much better if you start entering your pedigree (family line) grand parents, and greats as far back as you can! Then we can start using the source finding tools that are available on this site, which are pretty awesome!

to connect to the "big community tree" where you will see your complete heritage!
When you first start entering in your father's line, your tree is unattached, like in the illustration. When you create a profile of one of your ancestors that is already here on the tree, then the connection will be made. It could be a distant cousin of yours shares the same ancestor and has already profiled him! When you do connect, you will see how you are related to Mayflower passengers, Presidents, Kings and Queens, Movie Stars and distant cousins!
