cannot add existing wiki ancestor to my profile/tree

Question

When adding an ancesor  I am asked to put in their id if they are existing or fill in long fom. I put in id and say add but I see no results

Silly thought, but did you click on  [Add new Person] at the bottom  of the form?

Are you on the trusted list of the ancestor you are trying to add?  If not make a request to the profile manager to be added to the trust list.
