Married Louisa Day Gell circa 1853 - 1925 of Hemingby Lincolnshire UK and employed Louisa’s sister, Esther Day Gell as milliner from at least 1881. Esther was born in 1864 and died in 1896 at her sister Louisa and Charles William Gant’s home.
Charles’ father was John Gant 1827 - 1900 of Glanford Brigg, Lincs. He was a farmer and innblican/publican. Charles’ mother was Mary Anne Surr.
