I am not sure the Charles Luker from Toms River is my Great grandmother MARY ALICE LUKer's father...

MARY Alice Luker put my Grandmother Edith Lillian Marks in a Catholic Convent when her Jewish husband Leon marks died in OHIO. THIS convent was in KY on the other side of the River ( Ohio) where Leon and his parents Issac and Minnie (Wise) Lived.

I am not sure the Charles Luker from Toms River is in fact my Great grandmother MARY ALICE LUKer's father...i need to find out her dads name....and her mothers First Name       ?  Callahan or Calahan

Mary Alice Luker's parents appear to be John Stuart Luker and Mary Jane Gullet (her marriage record lists her name as Danforth who was her step-father) according to Ancestry researchers.

They had sons  Charles Marks, Edward Marks and daughter Edith Lillian Marks ( m  Hugh Krampe Sr) ??

Word has it that Leon died between 1901 and 1908 and Mary Marks took Edith to the KY Side of the Ohio river and put Edith in a Catholic Convent to take vows......( marks side was Jewish)
