Elmire (?) Gariepy, possible other first name?

I am searching for information on Elmire Gariepy, born in Saskatchewan (exact location unknown), possible DOB is the year 1898 (or thereabout).

Spouse was Narcisse Henry (born approx. 1890's, or thereabout, possibly in Manitoba) - still can't locate information on him either, but his last name could also be Henry dit Honore (but the birth certificate I have for his daughter lists it as "Henry") wiki id page: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Henry-6099 ).

I have Elmire and Narcisse's names on a Government of Saskatchewan (Canada) issued birth certificate for my grandmother (their child).

Thank you. I never looked for Cariepy. The family line linked to Gariepy (including having documented, sourced- land titles, information that my grandmother was born at the home of Gabriel Gariepy).

I can't access the links you gave (to 'Family search'), it wants me to sign up, and I am guessing that is a paid site (?).

familysearch is a free site. I've used it for many years.

surnamedb.com is also a free site.

Last name: Paul

Recorded in over two hundred spelling forms throughout the Christian world this surname is of Roman (pre Christian) origins. The surname spellings range from examples such as Paul, Paule, and Pawle in England, Paolo and Paulo (Spain & Portugal), Pauli and Polo (Italy), Palle (Germany), Pabel (Czech) and Pal (Hungary), to all the patronymic and diminutive forms such as Paulson, Pauly, Paolozzi, Pavek, and many, many more. However spelt the name derives from the Latin word "paulus" meaning small, which became a baptismal term of endearment, as in 'small person'. It is...

They don't have every surname, but they have about 50,000.

I just tried it and the only thing it will let me do is sign up for a 'free' 14 day trial- but I have to sign up with a credit card, which I'm not doing. It also only allows limited access on that free 14 day trial. :/

This is puzzling as I have used familysearch.org today without any mention of money.

The first thing I think of, if it costs money, is Ancestry which is pay to play.

I basically don't pay for genealogy.
