Can pdf files sources be attached to profiles?

I've not seen (yet) and profiles/biographies that have pdf files linked to wikitree.  Is it something that can be done? If so, how?

I'm thinking that profiles ought to have documents uploaded as pdf files that demonstrate where the facts come from.  At least I'd like to do that on profiles that I write.   Can it be done?

Yes:) I do it sometimes. Upload them as images, and then next to "Image Type" click "source" when you are filling in all the file details before upload. One I've uploaded is here ... https://www.wikitree.com/photo/pdf/Jonsson-1464. I've also uploaded diarys and the like in pdf. It makes it so easy for people to download all the info too :)

Thanks for that.  That's a huge pdf icon it produces.    I was hoping for something more subtle like what appears on normal wiki-style encyclopedias.

What I'm thinking is that if I upload several pdf documents at the end of a biography, those huge icons are going to clutter the space.  Is there a more usual wiki-style way of listing out pdf files?

Another question as I am new here:  Is it considered ok on WikiTree to upload pdf documents such as birth, death and marriage certificates (for profiles of dead ancestors)? The reason I'm asking is  I haven't yet seen a profile that does that and it would seem to be a useful thing to do.

Maybe you could create a free space page to store your pdfs, and link to them there? That way the big icons won't appear on the profile page. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Free-Space_Profile
