Uploading records to Lemmer-464

Question

Hello, I just tried to upload a pdf of the burial record of Johann Hermann Richard Lemmer to Lemmer-464. It did not show up. Can somebody please tell me how I can do it right? This has not happened with any of the others I uploaded before. Thanks in advance.

First thing I would check is the size of the file. Files need to be 10MB or less.

Did you see any errors on trying to save?

No i did not see any errors.

the file is approx 1,700 kb, not very big.

I'm stumped. Just yesterday I uploaded a screenshot to my freespace page and used that in a G2G answer so I can confirm there haven't been any recent changes to the process.

Stella, are you absolutely certain that it "didn't show up"?  Look at the right side of the profile to see if there is an icon with a red stylized script version of the letter "A".  That would be the acrobat icon, which indicates that there is a pdf file that will be shown if you click the icon.

If that icon isn't there, please let us know so we can try to figure out what happened.

Well it shows one record which is the marriage of Johann Hermann Richard Lemmer. What I was trying to upload was his burial record today, and that is not there.  Thank you for helping me to figure out what I might have not done.

I have now uploaded it. Yipee. I do not know how I did it but it is there now! Thank you.
