Looking for parentage of Bridget Kavanagh Byrne, born Ireland in 1841 and died Paterson, NJ USA on December 10, 1896

You probably already have been through this, Joan, but do you know the name of the town or city and County in Ireland in which Bridget was born? Also, if she was born Roman Catholic or Protestant. There are some genealogical resources (quite often Baptismal records) available online but you would need to narrow it down geographically, at the least.

She lived her married life and had her children in Oylgate,County Wexford before emigrating to the USA in the mid-1850s.   I don't know where she was born.

I think I found an answer for you on ancestry.com. I took a screen-shot of the parents, spouse and children of a (hopefully THE) Bridget Kavanagh, born 12/19/1841 in Co. Wexford; dies 12/10/1896 Paterson, NJ.
