Dee Snider of "Twisted Sister" finally has a page on Wikitree! https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Snider-2378

Please PPP his page. And we ain't gonna take it if ya don't. No. We ain't gonna take it....

ANYMORE!

This is spinning off of Eddie King's heavy metal band challenge. Make a profile of a '80s metal band member, get some family in there and post a song. The song is in the weekend chat. I figure someone should probably PPP this profile. =D

I’m just wondering if there is a source for his father being Jewish. Dee himself has said he is not Jewish.

His page on Wikipedia says his father was Jewish: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dee_Snider

The actual source is his autobiography: Snider, Dee (2012). Dee Snider's Shut Up and Give Me the Mic. pp. 17–18.

It doesn't necessarily need PPP.

He is notable, fits within a project, and has the lowest number id. Is he controversial or duplicated? I don't see that yet.

No Avery Brooks? WHAT?
Grace Lee Whitney was adopted . It would be tough.

Sorry

Adopted was she. Tough it would be
Dang, she was older than my mother.
Nope. All the other Avery Brooks are older than him. No respect for the Sisko.
If Star Trek can have a category, so should, say, Battlestar Galactica. Lorne Greene, Richard Hatch, Jonathan Harris (hey, I created HIS profile awhile ago.)
And Star Wars and Doctor Who. =)
Oh, Doctor Who would be HUGE. I didn't join in until The Ninth Doctor though. Tried it when I was a kid and didn't like. I was a Star Trek girl in the 60's though. I had to see it in summer repeats, though, since it was past my bedtime.
Same here. I was raised on TNG since that was on when I was a kid. I watched reruns of the original series and when TNG came on in 1987, my dad had me watch it. Hooked ever since. =D That was a great show. I got into Doctor Who much later. But, I do have serials from the classic era. One for each Doctor with a few exceptions.

Growing up in the '80s and '90s were interesting. So many classic shows. Not saying some shows now aren't good. Some are. But, I remember watching Star Trek, Star Wars and even some Battlestar Galactica. I got my dad the dvd set of the original series.

He and I watched a few episodes. Good stuff. =D
The original BG had effects from at least one guy who worked on SW. The plots were meh and the acting could be hammy, but it was fun. The newer series was awesome.

Hah, I have started Lorne Greene.
Sorry for the delay. Hadn't seen this thread in a while. Hope the Lorne Greene profile worked out. =D
