Missing badges

Question

Not wantin to sound ungrateful (am doing this also for the love of it) - I had more than 1000 contributions in October and then got the message that I would receive the badge beginning of December. However, today (Dec 1) I have only received my badge for 1000 contributions for November. In September I had a 300 contributions badge. This has now completely dissapeared. With more than 3150 contributions since I have started a few months ago, I should have more displayed on my profile? Philip van der Walt -440.

The same happened to me, but I realised it has to do with a change in your surname - hence the profile number associated with the acitivities. Both Philip and I made changes to our surname (started with a capital V and changed to small v). See http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/50193/contributions-not-carried-over-to-new-profile.

Should be a way to carry over contributions, and I hope nothing else get 'lost' in this way, e.g. merger requests?
