Browse Pending Matches that are ready for action by any member, with 'Oldest on Top' selected, which is the default, there are many profiles missing. The oldest profile is showing a Last Updated date of 2022-10-30. The merge looks like it was created Nov 13 2021, based on the comment on the Taylor-82217 profile.
Using Wikitree + with a Query 'merge=pendingmerge NOT privacy=open' sorted by Birth Date, the 2nd profile in the list had merge proposed May 17 2020, based on the comments on Devereaux-66 profile. Using the Browse Matches page and entering surname of 'Devereaux' it states that the 'Devereaux list is empty'. Both profiles in the merge have the same surname, so it should be listed. One of the profiles in that proposed merge is locked and one is open. Why would that merge not be included? Using surname of 'Printz' shows one proposed merge and both profiles are locked, so it seems inconsistent.
If no surname is entered, Locked / private profiles are shown, but when a surname is entered 'sometimes' only merges with both profiles 'open' are being shown. The header is the same whether a surname is entered or not.
Arborists are also trying to find all of the 'Pending merges' that are locked, which is the reason for the wikitree + query above. Is there anyway to get a list that would be in order by the Proposed date, so we would know which ones have been 'default approved'?
Can the Browse Matches page possibly be changed so it didn't show any profiles that are locked, which might help others to merge profiles without having to search to find a profile that is not locked? On the 1st page of 20 proposed merges, there is only 2 sets of profiles that are 'open' for anyone to merge. The Arborists could use a Query on wikitree + to find the locked profiles and others could use the Browse Matches page.
