Rachel was the d/o Laurens Pietersen Van Buskirk and Rachel Hallenbeck. Rachel was born in 1732, Hackensack, NJ, and died in 1771 in New Jersey.

Rachel Van Buskirk was the granddaughter of Laurens Andriessen Van Buskirk.  Colonel Abraham Van Buskirk was the great-grandson of Laurens Andriessen Van Buskirk.  Rachel's father and Abraham's grandfather were brothers.  Abraham was Rachel's 1st cousin once removed.  She was my 7th great grandmother.  Rachel married the loyalist John Allen.
