Is there a category for Colonial Governors in New England?

I looked, but can't find a category for Colonial Governors in New England.  Is it there and I am missing it?

Please let me know when you do this. I am directly descended from governors of Connecticut (Robert Treat), Massachusetts Bay (Thomas Gardner & John Leverett), and Rhode Island (William Coddington). Probably some others, too.  I've been wondering the same thing.

I'm thinking. . . shouldn't Governors be categorized under their States rather than New England?  In the Colonial days, England and France changed ownership of property as often as  . . well. . .  you get the idea.  I think keeping Governors in the States they govern is probably the most user-friendly way to categorize them.

Yes, you're probably right about that Saundra, they should go under the state.  I didn't realize there were so many in Rhode Island until I did a google search a few minutes ago.  Approx. 20.  

In Rhode Island there were first presidents from 1647 to 1663 under the patent of 1643, then later governors.  So I'm thinking it could go under "British Colonies" and title it "Rhode Island Colonial Presidents and Governors."

That sounds good.   And when you do "Rhode Island Colonial Presidents and Governors" also connect it to the category for "Rhode Island" so it's under both "British Colonies" and "Rhode Island" to make them easy to find.

I found colonial governors for Maryland but I could not anything for the New England Colonies.  I also found South Carolina and Virginia in the following place.
