Please change the rules re photographs

Question

I discovered by looking up Nelson and Wellington that Wikitree only allows you to upload a photo if you are on the trusted list.

This does not seem right to me.  If you can edit why can you not upload a photo?

 

I suggest that the rules for adding photos should be the same as for editing profiles.

I think the rules are slightly different if it is a PPP. If it' a PPP then it does have more protection.

i just checked the profile and I can upload an image. All I did was go to the Wellesley-4 profile, click on edit then I scrolled down to Edit Photo Settings and clicked on add an image and that opened the upload an image page for me.I just uploaded a photo to the profile.

There was no edit photo for either some hours ago

You guys are right that a Wiki Genealogist who signed the Honor Code should be able to upload a photo for any Open profile.

Sir William, maybe the link to it just wasn't in the same place? That's always possible, since we do format pages quite a bit differently when you're not on the Trusted List. There are fewer explicit invitations to contribute.

The upload a photo option is on the EDIT tab. It's not on the PHOTO tab (where one would normally expect it to be.) Is that the problem?
