Why are the children connected to the World tree if parents are connected?

Joseph M Fordyce (Fordyce-114) and spouse Nancy Roberts (Roberts-5711) are connected to the world tree, but their children aren't.  What has gone wrong?

Fordyce-305, 304, and 301.

You only connected the children to their parents today. Give it another 18 hours and the connection will show up tomorrow. I promise you it will.

Jo, we need to talk.  I have a bunch of Fordyces who connect to my relatives including my French and Clark ancestors.  But I've only entered the connecting Fordyce, James Fordyce, Jr. b 17 Sep 1782 Amity, Washington, PA Died Miami, Ohio who married Lydia French b1777 Essex, NJ m Jun 1802 Amity Washington, PA, d1860 Miami, Ohio.  While I suppose there could have been two separate Fordyce families who moved to the Washington PA area, it's unlikely, The James Fordyce above had a father James b 18 Nov 1756 Ireland.  Maybe we can find the the connection to the group you're working on.

It's a date!  I need the Fordyce clan to connect my Hatfields and Plymires to the World Tree.  So far, they are sourced and connected.  I'll look for sibs of my oldest Fordyce.

Well, I'ts nice getting a connection to the tree, but t more connections you can get the better in terms of finding cousins and so forth.  I went ahead and added the children of James and Lydia, though I don't know that that will help finding the connection with your line.  I probably need to see if James Fordyce b 1756 has other sons than James, Jr.
