She told me word of mouth and a noble so they have told me came from Glasgow. Granny was often in the library in Manchester researching and then went to Scotland to meet relatives. The Earl was 2nd cousin twice removed apparently to my father or great grandfather and they had some other stories. I have met some of the relatives involved.
