Trying to connect Anthony Beale (1790-1865) and Anthony Beale born 1640 , both on the island of St Helena?

Question

Anthony Beale the elder started his working life as a ship's carpenter and ended up as the Governor of the island of St Helena. The family lived there, breeding at a startling rate and recycling names with carefree abandon, until Major Anthony Beale (1790-1865) returned to England and then migrated to Australia. I'm lost in the forest of similar names that connect the two and would really love some help.

It shows the father and grandfather of Anthony Beale, both are named Oneslphorus Beale. The earliest Oneslphorus Beale was shown to have been born in 1722. That's still a ways from the earlier Anthony Beale you are interested in connecting to.

Thanks Frank for your comments. You're right - there seems to be a forest of Onesiphoruses between the two Anthonys. I've a lot of information about Anthony the younger, including his diaries, and I think I have enough information to fill in a number of his descendants.
