G+ bug? Number of recommendations no longer display...

Question

I've just noticed the G+ button on profiles that used to display recommendations by other viewers and is also used by some projects to vote on submitted profiles is not working.  I believe the button used to have a red background with white script. Not now, it is reversed... and when you click it, a dialog box opens that will display an image on your google account.  No longer am I seeing the number of times a profile was recommended via G+.

Ideas?
