Welcome to wikitree, I'm still learning the ropes too, but happy to try and help where I have limited local knowledge. I lived in Cheshire, when I search Winkles of Cheshire I have 2,145 records!

Hi Lizzie....thank you so much for your offer of help. I really appreciate it.  I will get a list of specifics for you. I'm actually from Staffordshire but I found that the Winkle name emanated from Cheshire. Can I as why you are also searching for Winkle? Maybe we are long lost relatives...lol
