Looking for parents of John Boyd born circa 1846.

Question

He may have been born in Liverpool England and I believe his parents are from Ireland.  He immigrated to Canada prior to 1890 and his wife was Sarah Brandow. They had 11 children, Nathaniel is my grandfather. In wiki tree John Boyd is Boyd-8083.  He has a nephew Charles Boyd that lived with them in one Canada census and I believe Charles father's name was James.
