I have a fella that I want more information about. Needham Perry arrived in an area of South Eastern Ohio, now known as Liberty Township in Adams County. He was among the first to come to this area and establish residence. This informations from a book- History of Adams County Ohio by Nelson W. Evans and Emmons B. Strivers.- West Union, Published by E.B Strivers.                                                           Needham was alive and living in Liberty Township in 1860. I have verified this much so far, but I need to know where he came from. I don't know much information on Delaware around this time. Maybe the answer lies there?  I do not have a wife or parents for him either and the Censuses that I have full access to aren't helping with my puzzle. 1860 is off Limits, but I have him in the county... just can't access who lives with him. 1850 has him at the bottom of a 29 year old woman and children ranging from 16years- 10 months. I'm thinking this woman is a daughter in law and the husband is absent for some reason. 1820 has him as Needham Parry (only a slight variation). 1840 Needham is in Liberty as well as a Joseph and Thomas Perry. I thought I had him there in 1830, but now I can't verify it. His grandsons name is Needham Parry, too. Grandson was born Jan. 3, 1837 and died at 19 on Oct. 25, 1862.

My 4th great grandfather Benjamin Perry 1781-1857 married Lucretia Hayman, not Hamar.  My DNA line comes from North Carolina, not Delaware.  Not sure where my Benjamin Perry fits with your Needham Perry from Delaware.  What line of Perrys settled in Delaware?  Group DNA #?  I haven't found any.  Thanks!
