To send private message, what is user name (not e-mail wiki name-#)

I thanked someone for their update and I tried to send them a private message, but I couldn't get figure out what my user name was. It didn't like my e-mail address or my wiki name-#

If you are logged in to WikiTree, when you click on a "send private message" link, the system should open a box for you to compose a message. The system knows who you are, and it will "sign" your message for you, with your WikiTree ID.

This may not work if you aren't logged in, but if that happens you should log in again and restart your message.

Did you miss the little security box at the bottom of the page.  It says type these three letters in this box.
